recent heavy rains

Have made my basement rather wet. This house is vacant, so I have no way of knowing if it actually flooded, but it became rather damp within the last two months.

Anyways, this has caused some mold growth on the walls. I'll be bleaching it down tonight and I'll be setting up a dehumidifier, but is there any other way to effectively take care of that mold?

You pretty much have it in hand. I would probably add a fan to the system to help dry things out. Good luck

Heavy rains

Make sure gutters and downspouts are in good shape and carry water away from foundation. Make sure soil around house is sloped to carry away rain and correct any drainage problems.
