concrete foundation crack

Would really like to have some advise on how the best treat a crack in my concrete foundation. It allowed water to come into my garage with heavy rains last winter. I have sealed the inside and have dug down along the crack on the outside. How should I treat the outside of the foundation? I was thinking about a silicone caulk. What is recommended?

I would not use silicone for exterior application below soils. Look at these and see what you think. There are firms that can do the epoxy injection method and they do work well. You'll have to make some calls on costs,
