Smile basement smell

I have an older home which has a what they used to call a coal cellar under my porch. It is closed off from the rest of the cellar with a wall and a door.
Recently we had a bad rain and I got an inch of rain in this room. We shop vacuumed it up but now there is a musty smell and hope you can give me some idea how to get rid of this odor.
We never have water in the cellar but because we had a new water line put in....and the plumber hadn"t yet cemented around the pipe........before the rain came.
The floor is cement and there is one window to the outside.

Thanks
Carole

Basement odor

Fill a spray bottle with bleach & water solution and spray surfaces in room to kill mold & mildew. Put a dehumidifier in the room to reduce humidity and turn on a fan to improve ventilation. Leave door to room open to improve ventilation. Leave window closed because it will admit additional humidity.
