Attic Ventilation

Attic Ventilation
I live in Texas and I recently purchased a home, it has 2 Turbine vents near the peak of the roof but very few vents under the eves, I added vents to be about every 5 feet all the way around the house, did I do the right thing to help cool my attic?

Turbine vent effectiveness
Ill bet your attic is more than 1000 sq ft, most people "just stick two turbines on the roof" no matter what the attic size is.
Most manufacturers suggest at least one per 500 sq ft of attic space, you probably need to add more.
However adding additional intake vents first was the right thing to do !!
No attic venting solution works without proper intake !!
