Basement Door Height off floor
I know the base moulding needs to be 1/2" off the concrete floor. Should the doors be 1/2 inch of the floor. Doing carpeting so I would assume it would hide the 1/2 on the door.

You dont say here .Do the rooms there in the basement have heat and AC outlets in them. Do the rooms have cold air returns?
If the rooms have heat outlets and no returns you want to cut the door about 2" above the carpeting so air can get out when its closed and the heat or AC is on.
