how to hide furnace, hot water tank, drain pipes and sewer pipes

we have a small laundry area that includes a sump pump, furnace, hot water tank and a number of pipes. Unfortunately, there isn't adequate room to put drywall behind the pipes. Nor is there adequate room to put a wall in front of the pipes without the sump pump getting in the way. I am looking for ways to spruce up that area without reducing the working space for laundry. Any ideas? (maybe just a bi-fold or folding door to get access to the entire space? But I would like the work area to be more attractive.
