Dormer Pop-Out Windows

Dormer Pop-Out Windows
Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. . .
I have a cape with a full dormer in the back, but nothing in the front of the house so there are no windows.
I would like to put in those "Pop-Out" windows that I see on many capes in order to get some daylight and cross-ventilation into the upstairs bedrooms.
Does anyone know of a site that has plans for this sort of project?
Also, is the work significantly less than putting in a full dormer? (If the work/expense is about the same, then perhaps I would consider a full dormer on the front of the house to really increae in the size of the bedrooms)
A Framer/Carpenter friend of mine said he will do this project with me.
Thanks for any input!

I know it will take more to do them . But Id keep the back and front of the home the same for looks . Go with the same kind of full dormer or two smaller ones. Just the way I look at it
