Ceiling tiles

Well after all the questions you all have answered for me, I may be ready for an inspection of a couple of rooms in my basement that I'm finishing. Over the last few weeks, I have had an electrician put in a subpanel for me, and I've ran a couple of circuits. This week, I hooked up the supply lines to the bathtub and sonofagun, that works with zero leaks (and it drains too :)). I need to finish the storage room and the bathroom first so, well, so I can put the rest of the junk in the basement in the storage room. I think I'm at a point where I need an inspector to come in. I had heard that you should call them in before you hook up wiring, put in insulation, drywall, or anything else that might get in their way. Is this a good point to do the inspection? If so, would they have some kind of checklist I can tick off before he/she arrives? As always, thanks for everyone's help! Joe

If I do the "foil test" on the wall for a few days and there is no condensation, should I still waterproof? Ive been in the house for about 8 years and never had any water or damp smells in the basement. I guess the concern would be I didnt foil the whole basement so in theory a tiny bit of water could be coming from somewhere else. So, I went to drylock's website and see they have a whole bunch of products. Some are sealing paints, some are meant for the slight crack at the wall joints. What should I use? After cleaning (Im assuming with a wire brush) and applying, what's the next step? Some people are saying poly, but I'll defer this question to anyone who can help. Thanks!
