Basement Framing help needed

I am finishing my basement and framed around the heating ducts for drywall. I intended to leave a 1/2 inch gap but when I finished, the framing was in contact with the ducts. Can I do anything besides take everything down and recut? Is there something I cna put in between the wood and the heat ducts that will serve as a heat barrier? Do I need to do anything at all i.e. is it okay for the ducts to contact the framing?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The ducts don't get that hot. You're okay as is.

Thanks Ed

I think I should be okay then. The flue vent pipe is actually in the middle of a mechanical closet I've framed in along with the furnace and water heater. Thanks again guys.

You do have it so combustion air can get into this closet.
1" per 1000 btu need it for furnace and water heater.
