HOT double wide attic - please help if you can.
Hi
First post here - need some advice.
Moved out to this 27 year old double wide mobile home. It is a hot summer here in AL and the attic is not ventilated at all - that I can see.
I am thinking three turbines on the roof - but I am not sure about trusses and their spacing in this type contruction. There is some edge venting - but no gable vents.
All ideas and info welcome.
Thanks
Andy Smith in AL
PS: I am also going to post this in the mobile home forum.

Id fine out what you do have up there first then work on it. Could be a power vent fan would work best over the turbines. When its hot and no wind they dont do anything.
Is the roof such that you could put a ridge vent on it????

Hot roof info
OK - I found a way to get my head into the attic - and it looks that I am going to need to do some major mods - or have 4 power vents on the roof.
The house is a double wide - of course. Where the marriage wall comes together in the attic space - each half is sealed off from the other by vertical sheets of attached plywood - running the entire length of the home. The attic space at the living room cathedral ceiling is enclosed the same way.
This means that I am going to have to open it up between the halves - or put 4 power vents on the roof (or 4 turbines, maybe 8-10 rectangular vents) and gable vents.
Like I said - this place was built 27 years back - but I am impressed with the strength of the construction. The roof sheathing is plywood. I expected MDF or OSB. Also I found that it is copper wirng throughout.
Now to figure this one out.
