Framing - Insulation already in place

I'm getting ready to finish my basement. There is already foil backed insulation attached directly to the concrete foundation. Should I just frame inside of the existing insulation? With insulation already there, does it make sense to use furring rather than full size 2x4s? If so, what size would be best?

Wink

Dont put furring strips on the wall. Go for a 2X4 stud wall.Just next to what you have Its a lot better to get electria boxes in a 2X4 .R 13 in it then a V./B over it then the dry wall.
