basement questions
Hello. I have a series of questions concerning finishing a basement.
1. What is the best way to stud out cinder block walls? There is a drop ceiling already in place. The concrete floors are not sealed either. Would I have to seal in the floors?
2. What is the BEST type of carpet padding to get for concrete floors?
3. How would I go about getting rid of cat urine smell in the basement? It's on the floor.
4. What is the best way to partition off the washer and dryer? Would it be possible to put tracks in for bi-folding doors to separate them from the rest of the room? How would I install tracking when there is already a drop ceiling in place?
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

it depends on:
1. how many friends you have willing to work.
2. how much beer you have to keep them working.
3. how long of a day you want to put in.
it CAN be done in one day. That is to say, there's nothing to let dry/cure/etc, so nothings in your path but the speed and time you want to put in.
