Attic question

I am renting a 2 bedroom upper of a duplex and am experiencing drafts from both bedrooms. Can you suggest anything than insulating that would prevent those drafts. There is a opening in the one bedroom in the ceiling. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

The opening in the bedroom ceiling I am assuming is meant to be an attic access. If so, you can place some BAT insulation on top of it, and then seal the joints around the cover with a removable caulk, e.g. Peal & Seal.

Where is the draft coming from in the other bedroom? If the drafts are coming in around the windows, you might also consider Peal & Seal here.

I am not sure what grill Ed was referencing.
