Room in basement

I want to build a gameroom in my basement. Biggest issue is an unlevel floor. The room is going to be about 15x20 or so. My plan was to use pressure treated 2x4's to create a bottom plate, then use some self leveling concrete to make the floor even for a fooseball and pool table, then frame the walls and create the room. Is this the best way or am I off the mark?

Sounds like it would work just fine. Be sure you leave enough of the bottom plate exposed so you have something to screw your drywall to.

I plan on nailing a 2nd bottom plate of non PT on top of the PT after the floor is leveled to make sure I have room for the drywall. Would the leveler cause the PT to rot after a while?
