Cool Basement Walls

Just wondering is there is an alternative to drywall or paneling for the basement walls. Looking to finish the laundry room area and was hoping to put something up that I could take down in the event I need access to the pipes/wiring. I've read about a few modular systems but was looking for something less complicated.

You could go "industrial" and screw up panels of corrugated, galvanized roofing tin/sheeting.

Just to be devil's advocate - how often do you need access to the pipes/wiring in the rest of the house?
