treating wet carpet

basement carpet got wet in recent rain...not a TON of water though. anyway, had carpet guys come over and extract and have been running dehumidifier, fans, woodstove and space heaters drying it all out thoroughly. they did treat it with an antibacterial spray, wondering if there is something i should also buy and treat with at Home Depot or whatever to try and stay ahead of any mold/mildew problems. it is an off white berber carpet, obvioulsy i dont want to damage it, please advise, thanks!

keniz138,

I assume someone has elevated this carpet. It sounds like you ahve done everything right.

Moisture is a good source for mold. If it is dry, you are ok.

Hope this helps!
