Can I use wood studs in Steel Track???

I had set up steel studs as tracks on my basement floor and then used wood 2x for the studs 16" OC. Now I am having second thoughts....

Basically - I ramset the nails into the concrete floor to hold down the bottom steel sill and then used wood studs instead of steel for the studs, but now wondering if I should pull it out and used treated lumber for the bottom sill instead. Is it more likely the wood will rot with this setup, or should it be fine? I would hate to rock all the walls and in 3 or 4 years have the steele rusting and the wood rotting. Any ideas opinions?

Luckily my basement has never flooded, but there is obvious humidity because - well its a basement. I am looking to put in a dehumidifier as well to help with any mold etc... that you can get in a humid basement.

Please help....

Wink

Id for sure put a P/T 2X down first under the steel frame down in any basement. It will also help when you go to put the base down . lets you have something to nail it to.
