Owens Corning basement finishing system question
$20,000 for 450 square feet sound like a low price for the Owens Corning system.
Possibly waterproofing was already done and not included in the guarantees.

They actually came out to my house to give me a free quote but the price is way too expensive, it was basically to put up the walls.
It is a nice system but too pricey....maybe price should come down soo, not sure............

I am in the process of finishing my basement. I briefly looked into this when I first starting thinking about what I wanted to do. For me, the panels were very unattractive.
The concept is great but I did not like the look. I decided to sheetrock, I am in the process of framing now. I am pretty sure that I am going to use the new sheetrock that does not have paper. It is supposed to prevent mold since it eliminates the source. In New Jersey, the cost of this is about $5 more per 4x8 sheet (about $15 per 4x8 sheet)
Sorry I did not answer your questions but thougth I would add my 2 cents.
Good luck!!!
