walkout basement insulation
I am in the process of finishing my basement and have two quick questions
I have a walkout basement were the back wall is framed out instead of poured concrete. Currently there is some type of insulation with a foil backing applied to this back wall. Can I just attach the sheet rock to this wall or should I increase the insulation with some type of EPS foam (I have used this everywhere else in the basement)?
On this same wall can I add additional framing members that run horizontal so that the sheet rock will extend over the concrete lip (does that make sense?)
Thanks
Nick
