What is the actual difference between a company or person. Who is a home remodeler or a Home improvement?

Is this just a general question?

Home Improvement is doing something to your home to make it better whereas home remodeling has to do with the structural parts of a home. I'm sure someone else can better describe that!

If you're asking about the difference between hiring a company to do work on your home vs. a non-professional (yourself, a homeowner, a friend, etc.), the difference can be cost, time availability, warranties, protection, liability, safety etc.

"What is the actual difference between a company or person." A person is just one who works for himself and my occasionally hire a helper if needed for a home improvement or remodeling project.

As indicated, home improvement is anything that you perceive to improve the home. Lending institutions make home improvement loans for improvements such as maintenance and repair, additions and alterations, or replacement of equipment or structural elements.

Remodeling is usually considered to be alterations, improvement, renovation or remodeling of existing facilities.

In my opinion, home improvement and remodeling are much the same. To try to define them as being different would be to attempt to split hairs.

 

Keep in mind, too, a corporation is a person, also.
