Anti-mold basement systems

We've heard about them - the non-organic non-cellulose based basement finishing systems that look like office cubicle walls. They are supposedly better suited for the damp basement environment & don't harbor an environment that encourages mold growth.

I've had a few come out to my house to quote. I just keep getting turned off by the ~$70/sq ft for a few walls, drop ceiling, & some ceiling lights (no floor, I'm doing that myself).

Anyone have experience w/ one of these? Is it really worth the cost? Should I just go w/ the traditional wood stud/drywall method?

Reep the rh below 55% and you will have no mold with any type of wall.
