Cutting a concrete footing

Hi everyone....

I'm presently installing a new bathroom in my basement. i'm working on installing the new drain to connect the new shower and toilet to the main evacuation pipe. To get the pipe to the main, i have to pass threw the footing. what i want to know is if is it ok to cut a part of the footing of the house.

thank

best would be to core drill a hole in the footing. unless you need a lot of drop to get to the sewer then just go under the footing.

life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies

Can you connect to the sewer main inside the house?

Or go through the wall above the footer and then drop (that's what I did in my house)?
