need basement suggestions

Hi,
We are trying to sell our house, and one eyesore is in the basement where there are two sumppumps, nonsubmersible with no caps. It looks ugly, and people come in wondering "what is that?" and have the ridiculous look on their faces... Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions for us as how best to deal with this. We are working on installing a beaver system, and rock bed and gutters in back where we are having the problem so hopefully it won't even be necessary to have them. If we don't have any problems in the next year, do we get rid of them? Or do we just leave it? It is literally only one side of the basement with the problem and the rest of the walls has either porch, or an addition on it with no water seepage.

Also, what can I do about our well condensation on the pipes. I've tried the insulator tubes and they didn't work at all, and mold started to grow on the pipes!

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't remove the pumps. The most I would do is look for a pump that doesn't stand so high above the floor. In fact I just worked in a house that had a sump pump which was below the floor. Only a pipe and a plug are visible.
