Thumbs up Garage Floor Coatings

Anyone having used Epoxy [Or other coating on concrete garage floor] please tell us about the Pros & Cons.
We have a new house less than one year. We wish to preserve & beautify the floor. Anyone ever used "Ucoat-it"?

I see no reason to coat concrete. It's a maitenance free surface. Leave it like that. Once you put something on it, it will need it again and again and again. Right now, you only have to sweep it.

I tend to agree. Once the surface is coated, it will likely break down sooner that the original floor, provided the concrete was done correctly.

I to agree w/ the previous posts. But my dad bought 2 kits from lowes for his 2.5 car garage floor. It was showing wear and what not, so he put this down and boy did it dress up the garage. I think its about 100 bucks a kit. Looks great when its done but it is a tad slippery for the first 3 months.

You could put a mat down but I don't know much about them. They roll out like carpet and are made of a rubbery type material.
GOOD LUCK
