Moisture In Basement Wall Corners

Moisture In Basement Wall Corners
My house is brick with the basement walls coming above grade by about three feet. I have forced air electric heat. The walls in the upper are plaster.
It's cold out and the furnace has been running. I am getting moisture in the corners of my basement walls. I want to frame and insulate but can't figure out why they are wet.
It obviously has something to do with the heat being on and the cold outside.
The bedrooms above have considerable moisture on the windows in the mornings.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi woody, you need to determine the source of the moisture. The warm air inside the house can hold a lot of moisture. When it comes in contact with a cold/cool surface, moisture can condense on the glass or walls as you are experiencing.
Ant crawl space or basement areas with dirt floors? Any water leaking through walls in other areas. Was this basement area open (vented) during the summer? Do you know what you have for insulation?
