Sealing crawl space vents?

I currently run a dehumidifier in my crawl space with most of the vents closed in an attempt to lower the humidity. However, I have 7 vents that I can not close because the wooden deck has them blocked off. So I want to seal them from the crawl space side and am looking for suggestions. Should I cut some rigid foam insulation and mastic in place? Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Yes that will work. We use the foam and then spray foam in place.

Thanks airman. Would you mind elaborating on what you mean by "and then spray foam in place" and how you us it in conjunction with the rigid foam for sealing vents?

Thanks again!
