Crack in Basement floor

I have the same problem in a house that is 33 years old.The crack is approx 10feet long and the floor appears to have heaved. I am interested in knowing what the low cost solution is??

With a heave in your floor, there is only one way do do it correctly. You have to go out from each side of the crack until you reach unheaved floor. This might be from 1 to 3 feet on each side of the crack depending on how high the heave is. Draw a line on each side parallel with the crack, and this area must all be cut out. Use a electric jack hammer or a cancrete saw. Dusty job. Take out all the concrete, and repour with new concrete. Thats how it is done. Not a fun job. But not to expensive for a contractor that has the right tools. Probably take one man one day who knows how to do it.
