Fieldstone foundation window frame

My mother inlaw, wants me to put in 2 windows in her cellar, to keep her cats in and other cats out. I did 4 custom windows on my house with bars, to keep people, and screens, for bugs, and the windows open for ventilation. My house has a block foundation, so it was easy. But her house has a field stone foundation making my ramset useless. What is the best way to fasten the window frame to a Field stone foundation. I don't really want to do it, she is to picky. She always wants a hundred doll job, for twenty dollars.

How thick is the wall? Can you cut it wide enough to add block & put some fieldstone in front of it?

My idea would probably work but if you don't want to take a chance cutting the hole that wide, try the following product.

Cool Tools: Quikrete Mortar Repair

I used something like this before, to point some of the block in my garage. But I didn't get it from quikrete, I made my own out of some empty caulk tubes I cleaned, and filled with cement. Then used my air powered caulk gun to fill the cracks. I just love my toys.
