when i purchesed my house a year ago the past owner had cut the wall between the kitchen an diningroom to give it the open space look but the floor sagged below(didnt notice that then)but while installing an alarm system noticed that the floor joist below was bowed an craked pretty bad how can i fix this thanks george

You need to "sister" the cracked joist with a new joist. I don't think this problem has anything to do with the wall alteration.
