Not except building a wall thick enough to enclose both vertical posts AND the pipe. Yeah, half wall would look a little funky with a waste pipe in the middle. Do you plan on making a solid wall, floor to ceiling? Door between rooms?

Not building wall floor to ceiling. No door. I was thinking of building something around drain pipe and pole. Maybe bench or something. Idk. At a loss on what to do .
What about the soffit question?

A half wall about 10" thick would cover both posts and plumbing pipe. You could put a pass through type "table" top on each end and box in the plumbing pipe with 1x6 lumber and paint it along with the other wood. Be sure to leave space for your cleanout accessibility.

I believe once you install your thick wall, the small amount of pipe exposed at the top will become a non issue. Yes, you could build a soffit out and around the pipe, full length or box in.
