Help in identifying attic insulation?

Does anyone have an idea as to what type of insulation this is (the shredded looking stuff between joists)? From some online research it appears to be either cellulose or rock wool? The picture was taken in the unfinished area of my attic. It was turned into a living space at some point by one of the previous owners (hence the left over yellow rolled insulation laying on top). I had a copper water line burst in this area and have to remove the ceiling below and consequently this insulation. I just wanted to get an opinion on what it may be, make sure there's nothing to be aware of when removing.

Welcome to the forums!

Looks like shredded fiberglass to me. Cellulose I have seen is always gray in color.
