support for stairs

Hi, I recently bought a century old home as an investment rental property. The basement is unfinished and the stairs leading *to the basement have no support nor raillings! This seems very unsafe and I am unsure how to safely make supports for stairs. Pictures were added to show what situation I'm in. I'd imagine I would need a support post in the far corner, but that is an entrance way for the door to the next room. Please give me advice!

Are the treads fairly stable? or do they have a lot of give? It shouldn't be too difficult to come off of the outside 'stringer' and install railing.

Should have had 3 stringers not 2.
Rim joists on the platform are to small, leaving the stringers unsupported.
No support under the platform.
Needed railings and risers.

The stairs are surprisingly very stable.

I'm more worried of the platform having no supports to be honest. Just wondering how I should tackle this. Take note of the corner of the platform that is right in the middle of the door

The only way to fix the landing at the top is to tear out the stairs and build new - assuming you have the head room to accommodate a longer staircase.
