Mold behind ceiling trim ?

I'm not sure if this is the right place or not.
We have a back porch converted into a summer room by a local company about 12 years ago. All the exterior brick and trim was left the same. The trim at the ceiling level, 3/4 x 3/4, looks to be dark behind it where the paint didn't seal at the ceiling. I used a local mold kit for 24 hours and showed nothing. I did not send it out. I removed the trim strip down and I can not see anything but light black plaster. I do not think there is mold but I need to be sure. Any ideas of something else I can do.

Thank you very much

To have mold you would need water leaking in.
I would think there would need to be visible signs of leaking water or water damage.

Posting a pic or two so we can see what you see might be beneficial - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html
