Question Have I really been out of the game for that long?

Just want to double check. You can now use Pressure treated wood inside due to the change in the process of making it over the past few years?

The only thing pt wood is usually used for are sill plates that are in direct contact with concrete.

To further that, you do not want to use it past that plate. It will shrink too much and cause problems.

I've heard that in some places they build treated wood foundatons off the footing but imo that's pure crazyness to think that would be problem free 100 years from now..

The formula used for most pt wood is safer than the old CCA which made kids sick.
