Most new windows will come with installation instructions. However, every situation is unique.

A lot of questions come to mind?
(1) Are you replacing existing windows, or will you be cutting new openings?
(2) Is your wall block, concrete, or frame? Is the basement walkout, garden, or subterranean?
(3) What kind of wall will you be building for the finished basement?
(4) If existing windows, how are they installed? Sometimes the builder provides an aluminum frame, a wood frame, or sometimes just nails/glues the window into an opening in the foundation.
(5) What kind of windows do you want? Aluminum, wood or vinyl frame? Sliders, double-hung, casement?
(6) What size will the windows be? Do one or more need to meet egress codes?
(7) Any other information that you think is pertinent?

Give us a picture of what you have now and what you want. There are lots of different ways to install windows.
