Drywall in basement, how far off foamboard under the sill track?

Basement was insulated and framed per Building Science recommendations, so I have a metal stud track with 1" of foamboard underneath it as the base of the wall. When I cut the foamboard I made it wider than the drywall track, so once the drywall was installed it would rest on the board instead of suspend over the concrete.

Our finished flooring will be carpet over DriCore (or Delta FL, etc)

The drywall was installed so it rests on the foamboard in most places (slight gaps in others, I attribute it to the wavy concrete), so "by definition" its 1" off the ground.

I was considering cutting it higher off the foamboard but it would be a bit of a chore (long walls), but was wondering if its really necessary. The only reason I even wonder is because the finished floor will be close to level with the bottom of the drywall once its complete. Not sure that really makes a difference but figured Id ask.

Thanks in advance.

I don't see any reason to cut the drywall higher than the foam board.
