Insulation on knee wall?

I have to bedrooms upstairs and this pic resembles what I have at home which is called knee wall attic right? When insulating the bedroom walls inside the knee wall crawl space, does the fiberglass needs to face you like the pic or the paper side needs to face you? Is it worth insulating the roof section also?
Thanks

Insulation is installed properly with vapor barrier (kraft) facing the warm side. No insulation on the rafter part. Your attic space that is not heated nor cooled will get close to the temperatures outside so as to prevent ice accumulation on the underside of the decking.
