Damp basement

Can I ask what dehumidifier do you have? We have moisture issue, we have attempted various things and tragically unless it never rains will dependably have a bit of dampness.

Hi Albert,
Maybe one of the mods will move this to its own thread.
Moisture issues are often easy to identify and fix. If your are having issues related to rain, you start by diverting all rain from the roof and other run-off well away from the house.

Do you have a basement or crawlspace?

Albert: As Bud relayed, I have moved your question into its own thread to increase visibility.

Is this a crawlspace or basement?

If crawlspace, what's the floor? Is this open to the house air or ventilated to the outside?

As Bud also mentioned, this may be an issue to be resolved outside with gutters, grading and downspout extensions.
