Adhesive for Foam Board Insulation

What is the best adhesive for bonding foam board insulation to a basement concrete block wall? The wall is coated with Thoroseal. Thanks!

I like PL Premium but you need good ventilation. PL300 foam board adhesive is supposed to be good as well, but I've not used it.

PL300 is fine. The adhesive should specifically say its for foam or else the solvents may dissolve the foam.

You want to use PL300, foam board adhesive. The adhesive doesn't always stick to the foundation wall so to help that make sure you lean a piece of heavy material against it for atleast 15 min to help facilitate the bond. Not all foundation walls are perfectly flat so the foam board may pop out in certain spots. Placing the heavy material will hold it down.

Convert Partially Finished Basement to Room Rental- Advice Needed

Hi, I have attached some pics to give you a point of reference. I am trying to get ideas as to how I can most frugally convert a partially finished basement into a room rental. The paneling is old and dated. Should I leave it alone or prime and paint it? Any color ideas? The floor tile is original to the house, I believe. It appears to be in good condition for that age. Should I put something over it? I had it tested for asbestos and the tiles do not have any but the mastic underneath has minuscule amounts. Should I leave the carpet on the stairs? Or remove and paint them? If so, what should I paint them with? Should I keep any of the furniture that is down there? Or get rid of everything? I replaced the windows recently. I want to get as much light in as possible. There is a deck over the windows, so that obscures the light. Any idea for a window treatment? What kind of a light fixture do you suggest? The room rental will have a separate entrance and a small bathroom with a stand up shower is about 80 percent complete. There is no kitchenette. Do you think a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven would be sufficient. the room rental is intended for a single person. basement water seepage

Hello All, After an extremely heavy and long duration rain - I wound up with what appeared to be water seeping in through the basement. It is not a pool of water at all, it merely made the basement floor moist in that area. We previously had a contractor do work to correct for this and it works well during normal rains, but downpours that last long periods of time still get the seepage. Below is a link to the pictures.
