Question

We have pulldown attic stairs that are located directly outside of our bathroom/shower. As a result there is moisture(steam)that makes it way through the the openings & framing in this area. The normal house heat also escapes through this area. From what we have heard this is a fairly common issue with these stairs/openings.

It was suggested to try and box or insulate this area in some way to prevent the heat moisture loss into the attic.

Any suggestions or thoughts?
-Thank You
