Basement Subfloor Seams
Installed a Dricore subfloor in my basement. Any reason why I should/should not tape the seams between the sheets of tongue and groove ply? I have Dow construction tape that I used to tape the seams between the sheets of rigid foam, thought it couldn't hurt to also tape the subfloor seams. I posed the question to Dricore, but haven't heard back yet. Thanks

By "ply" I meant the sheets of Dricore; the tongue and groove partical board that makes up the Dricore.
Final flooring will most likely be some kind of vinyl (closet and laundry room).
BTW - Dricore recommends an additional subfloor layer between the Dricore and final flooring. Not sure why I would need it if going with vinyl, sure would like to save that 1/4" by elminating the additional subfloor.

Stickshift - the question was posed b/c Dricore recommends a 1/4 layer of plywood as a base for vinyl and the Dricore itself if essentially 1/4 ply.
I posed the question to Dricore and they responded that the additional ply layer is to prevent the seams of the Dricore panels from showing through. If you're seams are very level, no need for the additional layer.
