basement floor

My basement is a dirt basement and I want to put a floor in,I don't have door to the basment or a window in the front of the house to let a cement truck into,would patio blocks be a good alternative to cement?or any other sugggestions?

Lots of basements like yours. The alternative is bucketing it in. It is done every day. Blocks will not work.
