Wide pull down attic stairs

Do they make the pull down attic stairs wider than about 24-25 in. The hall way is 36 in wide. I would like something about 30-34 in. The builder had put an attic opening (have to use ladder) in that is about 34-36 in wide.

I've never seen anything that wide, 22 to 24" wide is about max.

Thanks for the info about the Heavy Duty Wood Attic Ladder. Now can I cut the ladder part down to fit my ceiling height? The floor to plaster board of ceiling is 95in. I do not see why I could not cut some of the ladder ( rungs, probably one) out. The worst I might have to do is move a step up a little if I had to move the step up off the floor. Yes the step might not be the best distance apart but it would be only me going up and down.

Yes, that's how the wood ladders work.
