Basement Foundation Vertical Crack - Help, Feedback and Advice

Hi,

Attached is a picture of a crack in the foundation wall of a house we are looking at buying and for which we are worried.

We will have it inspected but would appreciate any feedback and advice you can provide.

Thanks in advance

Was told the crack was injected from the inside, would be plugs/ports used to inject into crack.

We are also worried about the fact that there is more than one crack. Also, the plugs/ports are beside the large crack, wouldn't plugs be put where the crack is to fill it with resin, polyurethane, etc...?

We realy like the house but this is really making us worry.

Thanks for replying, much appreciated

Agreed - the multiple close cracks aren't good. Means everything between the outermost two is likely just filler. There is also a lot of seepage present. Will be interested in what the inspector says. Also hard to know what was present before the injections and what has occurred since.

Have had several basement cracks urethane filled and they have all worked great so in general minor cracks in a basement are not a big deal.

One guy put in plugs and cemented the top, another just injected so there are different methods.

I have never seen two cracks side by side so that is different, is that a window in top left corner?

Is it leaking?

I would also recommend getting all that plastic off the walls, not good to have!
