Hi, I am in process of finishing off my 4 tr old basement.. About 1/2 way down framing.. I have a huge sports card and memorabilia collection I want to display, I have a wall about 10 feet long that I want to build shelves in the wall the most inexpensive way.. I gues this would be sheetrocking over framed shelves, but how would i frame them out, with 2x4's or go smaller? Also would like info on any other type of custome shelve's anybody has built, need lots and lots of idea's right now... Would really appreciate any info.....

I want to put a grooming room in my basement

Hello, I am a dog groomer and I would like to put a raised tub about waist high in my basement along with outlets and walls. I know from looking through books that I have to build a wall first. Next add a tub but how do I build a platform to put the tub on? Also I have to do the plumbing and add electrical outlets. How do I go about starting something like this? What kind of a pump do i need to take the water out of the tub? Or do you think I should hire someone to do this? THanks AnnaRead More
