Advice on crumbling concrete near door wall in basement walkout

I think I might have got a little overzealous on my carpet tack removal and may have removed a wood piece I shouldn't have adjacent to the base of the door wall on the interior of our basement. Regardless underneath was a crumbling mess. I was already looking into concrete crack repair in the basement to repair a few cracks before we put in vinyl flooring. Luckily we have no water issues of current, but I do want this area fixed correctly. Iíd patch it with concrete but Iím concerned about it being so close to the door wall. What to do?? Iím trying to figure out how to post pictures will do so momentarily.
