Hi I'm back again ... I'm at my Breaker box now, gets a lil hairy with all these wires above coming out of box.. Any advice, I'm planning on boxing corner off, just like 1 ft by 2 ft... When I get electrician to wire, how much room does he need by box to get wires out? above/sides? I plan on making a small hideaway door to access breaker box... Any idea on how much wiring cost for about a 800 sq foot basement? I know someone that might do it for just cost of materials, any idea how much andwhat kind of wire I need... Any and all info would be appreciated.. thanx again guys...

I want to create a small soundproof box room (8 foot by 8 foot by 8 foot) in my attic in order to be able to play and record music late at night and not annoy the neighbours. I am happy enough about partitioning off some of the attic but what I really want to know is that best way of insultating the small room to make it sound proof. I am sure that with a combination of fibre-glass rock-wool and carpeting the walls I can achieve some sound-deadening but I would be interested if anyone has any recommendations about the best way to soundproof such a room. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Cheers
