mold? not sure

hi. got a new roof recently and after the hurricane we had , i did an attic inspection. i do not see anything wet, but there was residue on one of the roof supports. i ran a wet finger down and the residue wiped away.
i remember this always being here and it just seems like dirt. i am hoping this isnít mold. i tried to compare it to inactive mold photos, but mime looks different. there are no circular patterns.
my OCD is getting the best of me. thanks for your opinions...
joe

I'm not sure what that is but it doesn't appear to be anything I would be overly concerned with.
