basement wiring

Code question 1: Is there a stipulation for height off the floor for wall socket in a refinished basement?
Code question 2: If I am running one 15 amp circuit for the wall sockets and a second 20 amp for baseboard heat, can I make the horizontal runs through the same hole in the studs or do a need a separate run?

Code question 1: Is there a stipulation for height off the floor for wall socket in a refinished basement?
A: No, you can use whatever height you want (12 to 18" is usual but not required). If you want to count the outlet towards the 6/12-foot rule, it can be no more than 5.5 feet off the floor (see section 210-52 if the 1999 NEC).
Code question 2: If I am running one 15 amp circuit for the wall sockets and a second 20 amp for baseboard heat, can I make the horizontal runs through the same hole in the studs or do a need a separate run?
A: Same hole is okay. Separate holes are okay too.
