If you seal your driveway and sidewalks, you will have one big piece of mess. Not right away, but in about 1 year to 18 months.

the correct time to seal your concrete is right after being poured. Now that a little time has passed you should first clean the concrete well, let dry then seal. You should use a good quality sealer that you can prob. purchase from your local concrete company. A that is high in resin, not the cheap ones such as Thompsans or the like. A good quality sealer will last approx. 5 yrs. or so before you need to reapply. It is a good idea to seal it so that it protects it from salt, oil, etc.... I'm not sure what these guys mean by don't seal, or that you will have a mess in about a year or so, I am a certified concrete tech. Been in the business for about 15 yrs. Sealing is a good idea. Also get a sealer that won't yellow due to the sun, again a "good, quality" sealer.
